Kanazawa is also known for Myoriyuji Temple or "Ninja Dera". The temple looks two story, but really 4 stories with 29 stairways that lead to all sorts of rooms throughout the temple. Tours are limited to reservations and conducted in Japanese. The first ten minutes start off with kneeling down in front of the temple while listening to a Japanese recorded introduction. Needless to say, my legs fell asleep by the time the actual tour began.
