I lost my Mini watch on Wednesday.
I was preparing to leave work when bossman asks me to take a look at a computer he brought from home. It was his daughter's computer and something fried and it kept on looping the reboot. So I hooked it up and powered it on just to show him but all in the mean time I kept thinking I was going to be late to my UCLA
extension class (yeah, I'm taking a TCP/IP class).
So, I hurry home - park my car and started walking toward campus. That's when I realized my watch was missing. As late as I was, I turned around and retraced my steps back to my garage. Nothing. I hauled ass to school. Thought I could take a short cut through the Engineering building got lost, looped around everywhere and 15 minutes later exited the building only a few doors away from where I entered it. F'n
Doh!!!!!By now I'm sweating like a cow because I'm wearing the corrugated pants and long sleeve dress shirt (rolled up) that I wore to work. I took the longer way to class. I was late and see a girl in
MY seat. Granted it was only the second meeting but the instructor had made a seating chart last week. Everybody in class saw him drawing it up. This girl... was messing up the whole system. Anyhow... I'm bright red and sweaty like a
coke can and those who notice me look at me like a total goon.
I got home, opened ebay and ordered another mini watch. Can't wait 'til the blue one gets here.
