South Park Studio

flickr's down tonight so I played around with "South Park Studio". I saw a lot of flickr members used it to create their buddy icons.

So, here's my version of myself. I was having so much fun, I tried to capture some of my valley friends. (If any of you stumble upon this, please do not be offended.)

I've been taking a TCP/IP Networking class at UCLA Extension for the past few weeks. The instructor is Art Mena who works at Boeing. He reminds me of a the geekier version of Bruce Campbell.

This is a picture of Bruce Campell

I have to admit, it was quite a ego boost to read this article. I wonder if it's true. But I should print this on a t-shirt and go bar hopping. The only problem is, the article states architects are unwittingly unaware of their sexy appeal. hmm??? What to do....

USC Tix on Ebay

I've posted my USC vs UCLA tickets on eBay last night and so far the highest bid is at $220. I'd be okay with that price if the auction ended at that. But we've still 5 more days to go. And the real bidding doesn't start until an hour before it ends. I've already received a question whether I would consider selling the tickets outright. And I responded with a terse, "no". If I wanted to sell the tickets at a fixed price, I would have added a "Buy It Now" feature or posted it on Craigslist.

So I won't be there for the classic showdown. And I've pissed off Brian (held the highest bid at $80 during the private auction) by posting them on eBay... but hey... this auction could end up paying for my entire season tickets. SC's getting so much press time and they are HOT. All I can say now is... LET THE BIDDING CONTINUE!

Street Art in Times

Ever since joining flickr, I've renewed my love for photography and learned more about a community that has fascinated me for a long time. I'm learning something new every time I log in. I've also been fortunate enough to meet other members that have been nice enough to teach me a few things on the way. One of them is a member of Branded (bunnies on the right) that are one of the many prolific artists in Los Angeles. I thought share this artcile in Times Magazine that I found a very interesting read.

Cartman Disapproves

Another viewing at home. Poor lighting. I took it on the dining table. I'm really bummed about not having my bart watch functional any more. the snow season is just about to start too. Well... as you can see, Cartman isn't taking it too well either.

my bart watch broke

it broke during rock climbing. i had just finished strapping in my harness. i pulled the strap of the watch a little too hard and snapped the buckle. The Bart watch has lasted far longer than I thought it would. I originally got it from Burger King when they had the Simpsons promotion. The Bart watch has been with me to most of my snow trips as well as Japan earlier this year.
